Responsibilities:
As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality instruction and support to students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic achievement
- Developing and implementing lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborating with school staff and administrators to ensure a seamless and effective learning experience
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references with one by a previous direct supervisor
- NJ Substitute Credential and background check & TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
- A passion for education and putting students first, with an empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
