Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Temporary HEDIS Quality Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to provide 'best in class' service and support membership in the assigned provider practices. The role involves coordinating in-office wellness events, maintaining superior member/provider relationships, and ensuring the highest quality of care coordination.
Requirements
• High School Grad or Equivalent
• One-year customer service experience required
• Experience with Medical Records Preferred
• One-year experience in a member and/or provider engagement role preferred
• Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial experience/knowledge highly preferred
• Analytical skills – proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel
• Openly and actively communicates information and takes initiative to communicate extensively
• Ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
• Effective interpersonal skills, collaboration, and listening skills
• Ability to build strong relationships within and outside the health plan
• Negotiation skills
