Job Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Tower Agent (Global Cleanliness) - SEA, you will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that contracted cabin service groups efficiently and effectively service aircraft. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assigning cabin servicing activities to contracted cabin service groups
- Monitoring the operation in partnership with other lines of business and adjusting the necessary resources to accomplish required cabin services as circumstances change
- Using radio, phone, and/or computer dispatching tools to ensure proper information and data is relayed
- Managing all flights related to cabin servicing requirements, including delayed departure time assignments, coordinating service call backs, and communicating the current state of the flight to appropriate personnel
- Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications:
- Demonstrate that privacy is a priority when handling personal data
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Consistently make safety and security, of self and others, the priority
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
- Be proficient in communication skills: verbal, written, and listening; strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are preferred
- Be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM
- Have strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills
- Be a self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Be willing to work rotating shifts, including overnights and days off
- Possess a strong customer service orientation
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required for effective service
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Knowledge of OSS and RES automation systems
- Operational experience in Airport Customer Service (passenger service and ground operations) or Cabin Services
- Previous experience in a dispatch-related role
