Key Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and execute product development discussions and map functional requirements to technical designs and project schedules.
- Power friendly development initiatives and processes.
- Assess designs and implementations produced by software and automation engineers – be a trusted and positive partner in technical discussions.
- Communicate and drive decisions (written and oral) on various components, including user experience, technical design, privacy, and security.
- As an Engineer, you'll build tools and workflows that help engineers examine their task's results on managed enterprise and educational environments.
Essential Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience deploying and managing Macs, iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs in various corporate (Nonprofit, Startup, financial services, etc.) and educational (K12, higher Ed, etc.) environments.
- Configuration control solution landscape expertise, particularly those used to configure macOS devices.
- Superior programming skills in Swift, Python, Go, Objective-C, or similar.
- Deep familiarity with Apple enterprise technology, such as Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management Specification, Apple Configurator, Automated Device Enrollment, and more.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development and quality assurance lifecycles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Awareness of Apple control platforms and mobile device control solutions across diverse implementation sorts, such as open-source, paid answers, and managed solution vendors.
- Exceptional communication skills – both internal and external facing engagements. Demonstrable commitment to continuous self-improvement.
- Experience emphasizing automation of repeatable tasks and tests through CI/CD systems and mechanisms.
- Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apple-specific technologies, such as Apple School Manager and Apple Business Manager.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
