We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to teach education courses and contribute to the growth and development of our students. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach education courses in diverse learning environments, including online and in-person settings
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and aligns with industry standards
- Provide academic advising and support to students, including mentoring and coaching
- Participate in department and committee meetings to contribute to the growth and development of our programs
- Maintain current professional standards and practices, including ongoing professional development and training
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Education or a related field
- Five years of licensed teaching experience at the P-12 level
- Experience in curriculum development, student advising, and teaching in multicultural settings
- Commitment to serving a diverse college community and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent teaching experience at a community college or in adult education
- Experience in teacher mentoring and online teaching
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- A strong record of continuing professional development and a commitment to lifelong learning
