They are seeking a detail-oriented Associate in Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the annual 5-year financial plan and quarterly forecasts
- Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable insights
- Assist in the design and enhancement of the Company’s Performance Management approach
- Provide analysis on key metrics against targets senior leadership
- Develop and maintain quarterly financial reports for senior leadership
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives and strategic projects
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and scenario planning
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across systems and reports
- Partner with business units to understand drivers of financial performance
- Communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Skills
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA) or working toward one is an asset
- Experience in financial analysis, planning, or reporting (experience in insurance or wealth management preferred is an asset)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools; advanced Excel skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across multiple stakeholders
