The Data Analyst Role: Driving Insights and Growth
As a Data Analyst at Terrabis, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business success through data-driven insights. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions, optimize operations, and identify opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities: Turning Data into Actionable Insights
- Data Operations and Maintenance:
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integrity.
- Assist in integrating new data sources, troubleshooting data issues, and maintaining the health of our data platform.
- Reporting and Dashboard Development:
- Create and maintain dashboards for various business functions, including Purchasing, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Accounting.
- Support business functions in monitoring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Enable self-servicing analytics and data visualization tools for teams across the organization.
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Insights:
- Fulfill ad hoc data requests from various stakeholders and deliver actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Conduct exploratory analyses to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks within the business.
- Support the design and analysis of experiments, such as A/B tests, to inform business strategies.
- Training and Enablement:
- Train internal stakeholders on data tools and analytics interpretation to enhance data literacy across the organization.
- Document processes to ensure effective knowledge-sharing and maintain a repository of best practices.
Essential Qualifications: The Skills We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in data analysis and a passion for turning data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on customer and marketing analytics.
- Proficiency in writing SQL, Python, and other programming languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Experience in managing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations to ensure seamless data flow.
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI and developing analytics dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and opportunities.
