About the Role
As an Inside Sales Representative at Gryphon.ai, you'll be responsible for handling telephone, email, and social media-based interactions with prospective customers, responding to sales inquiries, and prospecting for new customers. You'll work closely with senior members of our sales team, who will serve as mentors to help you develop new leads, identify and generate new sales opportunities, and close business.
Key Responsibilities
- Uncover qualified sales opportunities to be passed to Client Executives, ensuring a seamless handover and maximizing conversion rates.
- Achieve assigned metric targets via various prospecting methods, including outbound email and telephone campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Respond to incoming calls and emails from prospective and current Gryphon customers, providing timely and effective support.
- Perform outbound email and telephone prospecting campaigns to identify new sales opportunities and build relationships with potential customers.
- Contact existing customers to obtain referrals and cross-sell complementary products, driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Develop verticalized prospecting campaigns to target specific industries and customer segments, leveraging market research and customer insights.
- Respond to inquiries from senior leadership, including the CEO, COO, and VP of Sales, providing timely and effective support.
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to supplement strategic outreach campaigns, ensuring alignment and maximizing impact.
- Provide management with quarterly activity commitments, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in sales, marketing, or a related field, as well as a proven track record of achievement in inside sales. Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of quota-driven inside sales experience, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- A willingness and ability to complete outbound prospecting calls, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle and what it takes to uncover qualified sales opportunities.
- High energy and a positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated self-starter mentality.
- Exceptional interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills, with a professional and polished demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com) and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
