Job Overview
As an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and building strong relationships with producers and carriers. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing expert advice and guidance, and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist producers in developing service plans for key accounts, ensuring that our clients receive tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Manage the renewal process according to agency procedures, ensuring timely and accurate renewals for our clients.
- Complete servicing of accounts, including issuing certificates and auto ID cards, processing endorsements, audits, binders, and maintaining current status on all account activities.
- Promptly invoice policies and other premium-bearing items, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely billing.
- Review policies upon receipt, ensuring that they meet our clients' needs and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Respond promptly to customers' questions and/or requests for assistance, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Review client contracts and make recommendations to producers, clients, and/or carriers if it's necessary to modify existing coverage to comply with contract provisions.
- Communicate all necessary information to producers, clients, carriers, and other agency team members servicing the account, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional service.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications
- A valid driver's license.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A Property and Casualty Agent's license.
- 3 or more years of Property/Casualty Commercial insurance experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in a related field, such as business or insurance.
- Additional insurance industry designations, such as CIC or CPCU.
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
