About the Role: Fall 2023 Middle School Math Tutor
We are seeking highly qualified and experienced math teachers to join our community of Teacher-Tutors for the fall 2023 semester. Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of lead teaching experience in math at the K-12 level in a U.S. public, private, and/or charter school.
- A valid U.S. teaching credential (exceptions may be made for retired teachers with recently lapsed credentials and significant classroom experience).
- Daytime availability for tutoring sessions, which may be scheduled at various times to accommodate the needs of students across different time zones.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues in a virtual environment.
- A commitment to advancing equity in education and a passion for helping students from diverse backgrounds achieve academic success.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience teaching math in an online or virtual setting, with familiarity with platforms such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
