Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Benefit Development and Backing team, you will provide high-level analytical support and play a crucial role in driving business growth and improvement. This remote opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $26/hour and a flexible schedule of 8 hours per week, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre- and post-analysis of client programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing projects to support informed business decisions
- Design and execute A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies to evaluate the performance of pilot drives and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain and update business tools and models, such as BPM or Course Planning, to ensure they meet evolving business requirements
- Identify errors, discrepancies, and gaps in reporting and processes, and develop solutions to address them
- Proactively analyze data to recognize patterns and trends, and provide recommendations to drive business growth and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies, and support the creation of financial models and forecasts
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed, and create executive summaries and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or estimation
- Management Consulting or Engineering experience is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLookups, and modeling capabilities
- Data visualization skills using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
- Proficiency in other MS Office applications, such as PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Profit and Loss Statement
- Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Change management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, simulations, solver, and SQL
- Statistical analysis using R or similar tools
- Knowledge of Edge Miner (Notable Intelligent Digger) or other data mining/sales reporting tools
- Experience with SharePoint
- Operational understanding of sales, distribution, warehouse, and production processes
- Project management or consulting experience
