Key Responsibilities
- Teach college-level courses in History, primarily on the Bremerton campus, with potential opportunities to teach at our Poulsbo and Shelton campuses
- Develop and deliver high-quality course content, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and complete required forms and reports
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and policies
- Collaborate with colleagues and staff to foster a culture of excellence and student success
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree in History from an accredited college or university
- Previous teaching experience, preferably at the community college level
- Ability to teach U.S. History and/or World History courses
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level teaching experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including students with disabilities
- Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technology
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
Olympic College offers a competitive salary range of $1,496 - $1,604 per quarter, depending on experience. As an adjunct faculty member, you will also be eligible for:
