Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing scopes, budgets, and schedules for assigned projects or programs
- Directing, supervising, and controlling the construction, fixture installation, and architecture and engineering design milestones
- Reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, making recommendations, and approving subcontractor bids
- Conducting contract negotiations, reviewing and approving changes to the contract, and applications for payments
- Closing out all necessary contracts and maintaining accurate budget forecasts throughout the project lifecycle
- Conducting cross-functional meetings to monitor activities and budgets of other departments that affect the project
- Ensuring successful project execution while maintaining quality standards
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A four-year degree or equivalent experience in construction project management
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with advanced knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- A degree in Engineering or Architecture is preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external partners
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working on large-scale retail construction projects
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and technology
