We are currently seeking Upper Level Math and Science Instructors to teach Chemistry, Physics, and advanced math subjects such as Calculus, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry. As a part-time Sylvan Instructor, you will be trained on our proprietary curriculum and provided with the tools and resources necessary to teach in a small group setting of 3:1. Our flexible scheduling allows for evening and weekend hours, making it an ideal opportunity for those looking to supplement their income or pursue a part-time career in education.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Science or Math field, with advanced knowledge and familiarity with teaching or tutoring in one or more of the following areas: Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, although we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in the role. Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task are essential, as you will be working with students, parents, and center staff to provide a seamless and supportive learning experience.
