We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our Parking and Transportation team at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation services to our students, faculty, and staff, while also contributing to the overall mission of our institution.
About the Role:
The Shuttle Driver position requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and teamwork. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Providing transportation services to students, faculty, and staff on campus and within the city of Golden
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, while also complying with all relevant safety regulations and state laws
- Operating vehicles with specialized equipment, such as wheelchair lifts, to transport and secure passengers with additional needs
- Maintaining assigned equipment and supplies, including citation computers, radios/cell phones, and mobile printers
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance, such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water
- Providing customer service at the front desk, answering phones and customer emails, and explaining parking rules and regulations

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary range of $19.23 - $22.40 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of driving experience, including driving passenger vans, school buses, and/or equivalent service transportation vehicles
- One (1) year of demonstrated customer service experience, preferably related to driving or transportation
- A valid and current Colorado Driver's License at time of application
