Position Overview – Lead Data Engineer (Remote)
We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Data Engineer to join our Commitment and Maintenance Data Engineering squad. In this role you will design, build, and scale data solutions that support a suite of high‑impact products and services. You will work closely with product owners, data modelers, architects, and analytics teams to deliver reliable, performant, and future‑proof data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and construct data sets for analytical consumption.
- Hands‑on experience with big‑data frameworks such as Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Impala, PySpark) and streaming platforms like Apache Flink or Kafka.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language—Python, Java, or Scala—and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
