Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to Medicare Advantage patients to schedule preventative care and health maintenance visits with primary care departments.
- Engage with insurance companies to assist patients with insurance updates as needed.
- Greet customers and provide necessary instructions or directions over the phone.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments as directed.
- Maintain an organized and clutter-free work area.
- Prepare accurate documentation and records for patient care.
- Meet or exceed performance measures established by the Practice Management Department.
- Follow established policies and procedures.
- Participate in a team-based environment and contribute to team success.
- Maintain a supportive attendance record.
- Deliver quality customer service consistent with Optum's High Performance Organization standards.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Adapt effectively to a continuously changing environment and occasional difficult situations.
- Maintain professional communication, conduct, and dress at all times.
Essential Qualifications
