Acute Care Opportunities
Our Acute Care units, including the Medicine Telemetry unit, are fast-paced and dynamic environments that require skilled and dedicated RNs. As a Registered Nurse in our Medicine Telemetry unit, you will have the opportunity to care for patients with a variety of conditions, including:
- Heart arrhythmias
- Chest pain
- MI
- Post Cardiac Procedures
- Renal Failure
- Pneumonia
- Sepsis
- CHF
- Cardiac Drips
- Hypertensive Emergencies
- Neurological patients on NIHSS assessment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population of patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize evidence-based practice and current nursing knowledge to deliver safe and effective care
- Participate in unit-based councils and shared governance to drive nursing practice and improve patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain a spirit of inquiry and innovation, promoting evidence-based practice, research, and innovations in nursing practice
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- License/Certification: RN - Registered Nurse
- BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
- Preferred: BSN degree, national certification in PCCN, CCRN, or CMSRN
