As a Senior Data Analyst - Store Analytics, you'll play a critical role in driving our Athlete Experience strategy and measurement. You'll be the linchpin between stores, technology, data, fulfillment, and merchandising, working closely with our Central Operations and Field teammates to uncover key insights that elevate our efficiency and productivity.
Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities
The Store Analytics team is at the heart of our business, driving strategy, measurement, and valuation in stores. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for:
- Analytics & Testing:
- Synthesizing complex data sources into actionable narratives to address business opportunities and strategic direction.
- Creating reports and deriving insights from multiple sources to develop cohesive presentations of KPIs.
- Performing ad hoc, short-term, and mid-term analyses on quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic direction.
- Developing statistically sound test designs and leading cross-functional groups to implement.
- Utilizing tools like SQL, GCP, Excel, and vendor platforms to query, join, extract, and manipulate raw data to tell a comprehensive story.
- Staying ahead of industry trends and driving new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals.
- Business Stakeholder Support:
- Developing and delivering ad hoc reports and analyses to business stakeholders.
- Serving as a subject matter expert around business metric and trend interpretations.
- Leading and supporting formal and informal training sessions with client groups to enable business stakeholders to answer questions via self-service tools.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a retail or omnichannel environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and experience with BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI.
- GCP or Azure experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
