As a Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy with our North America Consumer Marketing Team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping multi-year, go-to-market strategies and executing communication plans that drive business results and leave a lasting impact.
About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our marketing strategy development process, focusing on the Mickey & Friends and Classics portfolio. As a Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy, you'll be responsible for developing compelling marketing programs, collaborating with internal Cast Members, external licensees, and agencies across various marketing disciplines. Your expertise will help drive annual business results, shape marketing strategies, and foster a deep understanding of our core consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Business Results: Develop full-funnel marketing programs that incorporate strategic planning, critical thinking, analytics, and innovation across complex projects.
- Lead Marketing Strategy Development: Ensure strong strategic inputs to partners, drive follow-up processes, and create timelines to keep overall marketing activations on schedule.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with Commercial partners to build North America integrated marketing programs that support strategic business objectives.
- Lead and Inspire Teams: Host regular meetings, share audience insights, and develop go-to-market strategies with a team of cross-functional partners.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Communications: Drive the development and implementation of marketing communications programs and brand initiatives, ensuring tactical plans deliver against business objectives and strategies.
- Track Trends and Consumer Insights: Guide the development of campaign roadmaps, briefs, and integrated communication plans by staying abreast of trends, research, and consumer insights.
- Manage Marketing Budgets: Assist in developing marketing budget forecasts, track ongoing program expenditures, and make monthly forecast recommendations.
- Analyze Campaign Performance: Conduct post-mortem analyses to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 7+ Years of Relevant Marketing Experience: Ideally in Marketing or Sales Strategy, or Brand Management, with a proven track record of developing and guiding teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Keynote.
- Critical Thinking and Communication Skills: Ability to succinctly frame up a verbal or written POV/presentation that influences executive leadership, partners, and peers.
- Exceptional Project Leadership Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in Social Media Marketing and Digital Advertising: As well as experiential/event-based marketing programs.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to manage ambiguity and lead teams through changes in strategic direction and/or priorities.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with National Level Campaigns: And marketing target audience expertise.
- Knowledge of Product Development and New Product Launches: Previous work experience in Marketing Strategy, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Advertising Agency, or Brand Management.
- Master's in Business Administration: Or equivalent experience.
