We are seeking an experienced Director of Growth Marketing to lead our paid media and CRM/email programs. This role is critical to accelerating our growth engine: you’ll own the strategy and day-to-day execution of our most important acquisition and retention channels. Your focus will be on driving scalable customer acquisition, increasing lifetime value, and building a cohesive, full-funnel experience.
This is a senior player-coach role on a lean, agile team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable guiding the strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute alongside the team.
What you’ll do
Paid media
- Develop and execute a holistic paid media strategy, spanning full-funnel campaigns across search, social, display, and emerging channels.
- Drive growth beyond bottom-of-funnel acquisition, leveraging advanced attribution models to optimize campaign performance and budget allocation.
- Innovate on new paid tactics to expand reach, lower CAC, and increase LTV.
- Oversee experimentation, optimization, and reporting to maximize channel ROI.
- Partner with data teams to build accurate attribution models, KPIs, and dashboards.
Lifecycle
- Own the email marketing channel, from strategy through execution, deployment, measurement, and optimization.
- Lead segmentation, automation, and personalization efforts to improve user engagement and retention.
- Establish and maintain list hygiene, ensuring deliverability, database growth quality, and compliance.
- Develop processes, campaigns, and reporting to maximize lifecycle impact at every customer touchpoint.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure transactional emails add value to the user journey.
Leadership
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product, Engineering and content to take products to market and optimize our owned digital channels and products for growth and retention.
- Manage and mentor a small team.
Marketing technology and operations
- Own the strategy and evolution of the marketing tech stack (e.g., CDPs, ESPs, ad platforms, web analytics tools),
- Leverage AI to enhance targeting, content personalization, campaign automation, and performance forecasting.
SEO & search innovation
- Oversee foundational SEO hygiene and organic growth strategies in collaboration with content and product teams
- Identify opportunities at the intersection of search and AI (e.g., LLM-driven discovery, Generative Engine Optimization)
Requirements
- 10+ years in growth or performance marketing roles, ideally within tech, SaaS, or consumer product companies
- Demonstrated success driving measurable growth across paid acquisition, CRM, and owned digital channels
- Deep understanding of the modern marketing tech stack, including AI tools
- Working knowledge of SEO and evolving search dynamics
- Strong quantitative skills, including attribution, cohort analysis, and LTV/CAC modeling
- Collaborative leadership style with experience aligning across product, engineering, and creative functions

Compensation:
$130,000-160,000 + bonus potential
