We are a leading provider of one-on-one assisted stretching services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Dance Instructor and Stretch Therapist to join our team of Flexologists. As a Flexologist at StretchLab, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from all walks of life, helping them to achieve their fitness and wellness goals through our proprietary assisted stretching techniques. About the Role
As a Dance Instructor and Stretch Therapist at StretchLab, you will be responsible for delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as leading guided group stretching classes for our clients. You will work closely with our team to build and retain a loyal client base, and you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and expertise in your work. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes to clients, using our proprietary techniques and methods
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, providing a supportive and non-intimidating environment
- Build and retain a loyal client base, through excellent customer service and a commitment to helping clients achieve their goals
- Ensure the safety of clients at all times, using proper stretch techniques and enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in assisted stretching and fitness
- Handle member concerns and issues in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Assist sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, helping to promote our services and build our client base
- Maintain a strong social media presence, helping to promote our services and engage with our clients and community
- Clean and maintain all equipment, ensuring that it is available for client use at all times
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in dance, stretching, and fitness, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be certified or state-licensed in a relevant field, such as massage therapy, personal training, physical therapy, Pilates or yoga instruction, or dance instruction. You will also need to have experience working in a fitness or health environment, providing hands-on training and support to clients.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues

- Passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, with a strong desire to help clients achieve their fitness and wellness goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a boutique fitness environment, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and developments in assisted stretching and fitness
- Knowledge of our proprietary assisted stretching techniques and methods, or a willingness to learn and become certified
- Strong social media skills, with the ability to promote our services and engage with our clients and community
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients and business
