About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced NYS Licensed Special Educators to join our team as an Early Intervention Special Educator. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide therapeutic services in the comforting environment of children's homes throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC. Our collaborative, team-centered approach encourages cooperation among all disciplines involved, and we prioritize open communication and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention strategies in home, school, or community settings to support the development of children with special needs.
- Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized programs aligned with the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Maintain open communication and collaboration with supervisors to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
- Engage effectively with our team of multi-disciplinary service providers to promote a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Develop and implement behavior plans and skill acquisition plans to support the unique needs of each child.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, empowering them to advocate for their child's needs and promote their overall well-being.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Possess a Master's Degree in Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Hold NYS Licensure as a Special Educator or LMSW.
- Have Teaching Certifications: Students with Disabilities Birth - 2nd grade.
- Possess an Initial, Professional, or Permanent Special Education Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we are seeking candidates with the following preferred qualifications:
- CPR Certification.
- Experience in developing behavior plans and skill acquisition plans.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with parents and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- A fee-for-service structure with rates as follows: $60 for a 30-minute session, $80 for a 60-minute session without DOH Letter, and $65 for a 30-minute session, $85 for a 60-minute session with DOH Letter.
