Role Overview
In this critical role, you will serve as a key member of our End User Computing team, providing expert technical support and services to our clients. As a Desktop Analyst L2, you will be responsible for managing desktop devices, resolving incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' desktop environments, and your passion for technology will drive our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage desktop devices (hardware, software, and connectivity) incidents through to resolution, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to deliver timely and effective solutions.
- Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on desktop devices for their entire lifecycle, including remote management using appropriate tools.
- Support, manage, optimize, and maintain the configuration and installation of desktop devices, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and spare management.
- Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Ensure each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image, and manage desktop devices (hardware and software) incidents through to resolution.
- Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices, taking appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements to safeguard our clients' systems.
- Provide VIP support for desk-side issues per contract, serving as the point of contact at the site for all IT-related issues and ensuring prompt resolution.
Essential Qualifications
- Good communication and in-person customer handling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written Arabic, French, and English.
- Knowledge and experience with Windows 7/10 OS, Apple devices (iPhones and iPads), and desktop devices (hardware, software, and connectivity).
- Experience with service management tools, such as ServiceNow, and expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and service request management, as well as asset management and spare management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding of Teams, VPN, and mobile device support, with experience in managing and supporting MAC devices and tablets.
- Knowledge of AD and smart hands and feet support, with experience in providing technical support and services in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications or training in ITIL, CompTIA, or other relevant technical certifications, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
