About the Role
As a Massage Therapist at StretchLab, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional stretching experiences to our clients. You'll provide one-on-one assisted stretch sessions, lead guided group stretching classes, and help build and retain our client base through sales and outreach. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to 6 clients, ensuring a safe and effective stretching experience for all
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, helping them to achieve their goals and build confidence in their abilities
- Build and retain our client base through sales and outreach, identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to drive growth and engagement
- Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments
- Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in the industry
- Handle member concerns when applicable, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, helping to drive business growth and development
- Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention, engaging with clients and promoting our services through various channels
- Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at any given time, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a passion for boutique fitness environments and a love of stretching, mobility, and flexibility. Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor is essential, as is experience working in a fitness/health environment where you've provided hands-on training with clients. You'll also need to have a fitness certification and be able to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
Essential Qualifications:
- Love of boutique fitness environment and passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you've provided hands-on training with clients
- Fitness certification required
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
- Fantastic communication skills and empathy
- Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals
- Professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a sales or customer service environment

- Knowledge of the latest developments and best practices in the fitness and wellness industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
What We Offer
In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of $14 - 34 per hour, as well as the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company that's passionate about helping people achieve their wellness goals. You'll also have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge through our proprietary Flexologist training program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training.
