Job Responsibilities
As a Math Instructor/Tutor, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
- Working collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
- Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Eagerness to learn and be trained on our teaching methodologies and curriculum
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- The ability to balance various ongoing tasks and responsibilities
All applicants will be required to:
- Take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency
- Provide work authorization
- Pass a background check
