Key Responsibilities: Guiding Members to Success
- Design and deliver customized fitness programs tailored to each member's unique needs and goals, incorporating education on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Conduct comprehensive Crunch Kickoff appointments, including state-of-the-art body composition analysis, nutritional counseling, and guidance on proper equipment usage and exercise form.
- Perform Fitness Assessments according to Company protocol, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy, functional exercise, basic nutrition, and exercise science to inform program design.
- Educate members on current health and fitness trends, providing ongoing support and guidance to help them achieve their objectives.
- Develop and implement individualized exercise programs that cater to each member's personal fitness goals, continually monitoring progress and adjusting the program as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean training environment, enforcing gym rules and etiquette while providing exceptional member service.
- Achieve monthly revenue goals established by the Fitness Manager, partnering with the membership sales team to drive new member acquisitions and retention.
- Demonstrate a passion for fitness and coaching, providing motivational support and feedback to members to help them reach their full potential.
Essential Qualifications: The Skills and Competencies We Look For
To succeed as a Personal Trainer at Crunch Fitness, you'll need:
- A current Nationally Recognized Personal Trainer Certification (e.g., ACE, ACTION, AAPTE, ACSM, CSCCa, Cooper Institute, NASM, NCSF, NESTA, NETA, NFPT, NSCA, PTA Global, LT Academy).
- Basic First Aid knowledge and CPR/AED Certification within 6 months of hire (we can help you achieve this if you don't already have it).
- A High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with members, build strong relationships, and provide outstanding customer service.
- A strong work ethic, with a willingness to go above and beyond to support your clients and team.
- The ability to lift up to 45 pounds, stand or sit for up to 8 hours, and perform physical tasks such as squatting, bending, reaching, and spotting.
