As a Math Instructor/Tutor with us, you'll have the opportunity to work with students from K-8th grade, helping them overcome math challenges and develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality math instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Assess student knowledge and understanding, identifying areas for improvement
- Develop and implement customized learning plans to meet individual student needs
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters a love for math
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in math education
Essential Qualifications
- Strong math skills, particularly in areas relevant to K-8th grade curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of varying ages, backgrounds, and learning styles
- Coachability and willingness to learn our unique teaching methodology
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with flexible scheduling
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in math, education, or a related field
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in math education
