About This Job:
As a Data Analyst at Tesla, you will be an integral part of our Recruiting and HR system, leveraging data from in-house tools to monitor recruiting patterns, track progress, and improve system design. You will gather and analyze data from internal systems to drive continuous process improvements. Our Recruiting Analytics team is embedded within the Recruiting organization and contributes to decisions made throughout the company. We're constantly refining our approach to data analysis to better understand recruiting trends and their impact on Tesla's workforce.
What You'll Do:
- Apply a product-driven approach to data and reporting, ensuring discoverability through user-friendly documentation and reliability with thorough data tests
- Design, build, and maintain data models to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility for analysis
- Gather, analyze, and present data from the system to make inferences and drive business decisions
- Effectively communicate data analysis to non-technical audiences
- Identify patterns to define gaps in the candidate pipeline and drive change at a system level with mindful stakeholders (end-users, system administrators, etc.)
- Ensure seamless integration with downstream systems and accurate reporting to stakeholders
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analysis, Management Information Systems, or similar experience
- Prior experience working with HR or Recruiting teams, or in-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting
- Previous experience with social databases
- Proficiency in SQL and other common query languages
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and automated testing
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking and a first-principles approach to problem-solving
