Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and business owners to define objectives, processes, policies, procedures, and rules for the MACFin system, ensuring seamless integration and effective implementation.
- Explain policy implementation to team members, providing clarity and guidance on complex financial concepts and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Ensure data and information accuracy by fact-checking program objectives, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity in all aspects of the role.
- Provide feedback to the project team throughout the creation, testing, and rollout of deliverables, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Work with MACFin leadership to create testing scenarios and validate test results, demonstrating expertise in Medicaid finance and a keen eye for detail.
- Perform user-acceptance testing at the end of the project, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards and are ready for implementation.
- Validate deliverables produced by the MACFin team, verifying that they meet the necessary requirements and are aligned with project objectives.
- Create project-related documentation and training manuals, showcasing your ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Teach or train project employees and consumers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in Medicaid finance at the federal or state level, with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of Medicaid finance.
- Experience with Medicaid and CHIP budget and expenditures, demonstrating your ability to navigate the financial aspects of these programs.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, providing a solid foundation in financial principles and concepts.
- The ability to currently hold a public trust or be willing to obtain a public trust, ensuring that you can work with sensitive information and meet the necessary security clearance requirements.
