Key Responsibilities: Bringing Our Virtual Front Desk to Life
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage patient appointments, send reminders, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You'll shadow an average of 4 providers daily, scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments with precision and care.
- Payment Processing & Record-Keeping: Handle co-pays, payments, and maintain accurate records for easy tracking and compliance.
- Patient Information Management: Keep patient records up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Patient Support & Guidance: Assist patients with insurance forms, benefits, and relevant programs, providing empathetic and informed support.
- Referral Coordination: Facilitate outside appointments and services, ensuring seamless transitions and comprehensive care.
The Ideal Candidate: Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- 1-3 Years of Relevant Experience: Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a related administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and empathetic communication, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, providers, and staff.
- Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), practice management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
