The Role: Infusion Collection Specialist - Remote
As an Infusion Collection Specialist, you will play a critical role in our collections process, working closely with multiple site locations to maximize accurate and timely payments. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in driving our business forward, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve account balances, taking necessary collection actions to ensure timely payment
- Investigate and respond to assigned correspondence, resolving requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Make routine collection calls on outstanding claims, identifying and addressing billing errors, short payments, and unpaid claims
- Analyze and resolve cash application issues, writing off accounts as necessary and reporting potential risks to management
- Document detailed notes in our company software system, ensuring clear and concise communication
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Utilize portals and electronic tools to manage accounts, submit secondary claims, and follow up on appeals
- Identify trends and escalate issues to management, preparing potential payor projects and supporting documentation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payor follow-up and appeal deadlines, ensuring timely submissions
Requirements: Bringing Your Expertise to the Table
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1-3 years of strong collections experience, preferably in a home infusion or specialty pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical terminology
- Experience with CPR+ systems (or similar software)
- Excellent math, writing, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and multitask
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications: Adding Extra Value
While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Previous experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy
- CPR+ systems experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5pm Pacific Time
We're looking for someone who is available to work a standard Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional overtime as necessary.
