About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Airline Customer Service Agent to join our team at San Francisco International Airport. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers on international flights, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to baggage pick-up. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers on international flights, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the passenger experience from check-in to boarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Assist passengers with special needs, such as those with disabilities or requiring wheelchair assistance.
- Work collaboratively with other teams, including airline staff, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including passenger data and incident reports.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and regulations to provide accurate information to passengers.
- Work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening; fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in a second language is highly desirable.
- Customer service experience is preferred, but not required; we're happy to train the right candidate.
- Computer literacy with fast and accurate data entry skills; attention to detail is crucial.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet, and provide solutions to problems.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- The stamina to stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
We're particularly interested in candidates who:
- Are bilingual or multilingual, with language combinations such as English/Tagalog, English/Mandarin, English/Cantonese, English/Vietnamese, English/Thai, English/Indonesian, English/Hindi, Gujarati, or English/Japanese.
- Have previous experience in the aviation industry or a related field.
- Possess knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and regulations.
