About the Role
As a Senior Marketing Manager at Amazon, you'll be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement, retention, and loyalty. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that promote Amazon's membership benefits and deliver long-term value growth for the business. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of creative campaigns to acquire new subscribers and drive membership growth
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, CRM/email, app, and web pages
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, TPM, and Customer Care teams to ensure subscribers receive exceptional experiences that drive business results
- Develop and review briefs and requisition requests for campaigns and activities that support the growth of the Amazon Memberships Business
- Work closely with Product, Business Development, and On-Site Experience teams to align marketing strategies with product enhancements, promotions, and events
- Partner with Content and Creative teams to drive the development of compelling membership-related copy/content and campaigns
- Review and approve customer-facing assets, communications, and campaigns related to Memberships across markets
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Lead ongoing customer and market research to inform campaign development and optimization
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 4+ years of proven experience in marketing, preferably in consumer marketing (B2C), e-commerce, technology, or gadgets industries
- 4+ years of experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive membership growth and retention
- 4+ years of experience analyzing marketing performance metrics and customer insights
- 4+ years of experience working across digital marketing channels, including paid and organic social, search, display, video, and on-site promotions
- 4+ years of experience writing client-facing content and directing creative teams while executing directly on marketing campaigns across channels
- 4+ years of experience executing revenue-driving marketing campaigns across multiple regions and countries for a diverse range of audience segments
- 4+ years of proven experience launching and guiding cross-functional teams
- 4+ years of demonstrated writing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications

- Solid understanding of the smart home category and emerging trends
- Strong organizational and project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously

- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation
- Knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem and experience with e-commerce platforms and digital advertising tools is a plus
- Ability to provide leadership, mentorship, and build internal culture
- Skilled at working in a cross-functional organization and comfortable in a hyper-growth, fast-paced, and self-starter environment
- Proven ability to interpret marketing data and analytics to draw insights, make data-driven decisions, and enhance campaign performance
