Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the front office team to ensure exceptional customer service and a seamless guest experience
- Oversee front office operations, including front desk, concierge, and reservations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated guest experience
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to optimize front office performance
- Recruit, train, and develop front office staff to ensure a high-performing team
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- At least 5 years of experience in hotel front office operations or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and customer service principles
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:
- Hospitality industry certification (e.g. AHLEI)
- Experience with revenue management and yield management systems
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
