As a Teen Health Education Intern, you will play a vital role in implementing our mission and making a positive impact on the lives of teens in the Oklahoma City area.
At HealthCorps, we empower teens to become change agents within their families, schools, and neighborhoods. Our innovative wellness club, Teens Make Health Happen, is designed to promote improved health and wellness, and create leadership opportunities for teens. As a Teen Health Education Intern, you will serve as a near-peer mentor to local middle and high school students, leading our health and wellness club and supporting teens in planning and leading wellness programming such as lunchtime demonstrations, step challenges, and community improvement projects.
